Privacy Policy

PakkaHisaab is a product of WebAnchor (“WebAnchor”, “we”, “us”), a Pakistani technology company. We provide a digital khata, POS and stock app for shops, on the web at app.pakkahisaab.com and as mobile apps for Android and iPhone (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

Account data — your name, mobile number, email address, password (stored encrypted), business name, city and business type, and the staff accounts you create.

Business data you enter — customers and suppliers (names, phone numbers, balances, khata entries), products, stock, IMEI / serial numbers, sales, invoices, returns, expenses and settings. You are in control of this data; we store and process it only to provide the Service to you.

Billing data — the plan you request, payment method, transaction reference and any payment screenshot you upload. We do not store card numbers.

Device and usage data — device model and app version, IP address, log-in times and error logs, used to keep your account secure and to fix problems.

Data from the website contact form — your name, phone, email, business name and message.

2. Phone permissions

The mobile app asks for these permissions only when you use the related feature:

• Camera — to scan barcodes and IMEI numbers. Images are not stored or uploaded.
• Microphone — for the voice feature (“bol kar khata”). Speech is turned into text by your phone’s speech recognition service (Google on Android, Apple on iPhone); we receive only the resulting text.
• Bluetooth — to print receipts on a Bluetooth thermal printer.
• Photos / storage — to add product photos and to save or share invoices.

You can turn any permission off in your phone’s settings; the rest of the app keeps working.

3. How we use data

• To run the Service: keep your khata, sales and stock, show reports, and sync your phone and web app.
• To send messages you ask for, such as WhatsApp or SMS reminders to your customers.
• To send account emails, such as trial and plan reminders, and to reply to support requests.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors.

We do not sell your data or your customers’ data, and we do not use your business data for advertising.

4. Advertising on the free plan

The free Khata plan may show ads in the mobile app. The ad provider may use your device’s advertising ID to show and measure ads. You can reset or limit this ID in your phone’s settings. Ads are not shown on paid plans.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service — for example our hosting provider, email delivery and, when you send a reminder through it, WhatsApp / Meta. They may use the data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data if required by Pakistani law or to protect our users.

6. Your customers’ data

When you add a customer, you are responsible for having their permission to record their details and to send them reminders. We process this data on your behalf and do not contact your customers ourselves.

7. Security and backups

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secured servers with daily backups. Each business can only see its own data, and staff see only what the owner allows.

8. How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your business data within 30 days, except where we must keep billing records by law. Backups are overwritten within 14 days.

9. Your choices

You can view and correct your data in the app at any time. To delete your account and all its data, see Delete your account.

10. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not meant for children under 13.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app or by email if the change is important.
